We have had timber specialist visit the property to replace the fire and water damaged timbers, but at a later date we need to remove and treat the timber window frames too. The internal structural layout is finally being erected so we can see the foot print of the flats.
We have made head way with the utility company so after nearly 7 months of phone calls and emailed we may have an account - this has been much harder than anticipated.
In other news I have been looking at an app called Land Insight which gives you a map showing planning permission requests at different stages of the application and of different sizes. I have then crossed referenced these on Land Registry for £3 per title and sent the owners a letter. I have been happy (and surprised) by the response to my letters. I am now in communication with several people in our 3 Northern towns about purchasing their properties which have planning permission.
We have pushed the button to purchase two properties in Rochester for an 18 bed HMO and 2 retail spaces. We have to secure planning so the purchase has a delayed completion date of end of July 2022.
It seems that we waited a long time to gain momentum and now we have it so its exciting times ahead. Please do check out the new website too.
